A Message from the General Chair

Dear Distinguished Colleagues,

I hope this message finds you well and staying safe. I would like to invite you all, on behalf of IEEE ICEE organizing committee, IEEE, and IEEE Electron Devices & Solid-State Circuits Society, to contribute to this flagship conference. Despite COVID uncertainties I am glad to announce that ICEE 2022 will take place in a in-person mode.  

The world, despite witnessing several waves of COVID havoc, has survived, and progressed in all fields. Semiconductor technologies and manufacturing particularly have seen a major push from across the world as evident from the recent demand-supply gap and major investment announcements. We hope that the field will see an unprecedent growth making semiconducting materials the next “Oil”. Keeping this in mind this years IEEE ICEE theme is around the quest towards laying a 10-year roadmap for advanced and future semiconductor technologies while keeping in mind the interests & curiosities of Industry and academic community.

Keeping the quest in mind, I look forward for your amazing contributions to this conference and meet you in person between Dec 11th – Dec 14th. The program committee has come up with a rigorous plan and a

tentative agenda for the conference. We plan to host over 8 keynote and plenary talks, 300+ invited speakers, 120-150 platform presentations and over 100 poster presentations. Besides, the conference will host over a dozen rump sessions, industry sessions and policy sessions. Our initial study suggest participation of around 1000 attendees in various roles including experts from industry and strategic. You will also get ample opportunities to network with leading experts from around the world, industry professionals, policy makers, amazing graduate students. For graduate students and postdocs, we are also creating ample opportunities, such as job fairs, where they would meet their potential employers. Please keep checking the program section for more details.        

Together with the conference hotel, we are committed to do our best to provide a safe, comfortable, and memorable event for all attendees.
